Common fabric faults and defects which may cause third party inspection Failed

During the fabric inspection or garment quality control inspection, fabric faults or defects can be found as numerous, here we list some type of the common fabric faults below:

  • Abrasion Mark:
    A place in the fabric whose surface has been damaged by friction or abnormally weakened by a transaction in which it was transmitted.
  • Barre or horizontal stripes
    Yarn bad, uneven tension, the sliding of the positive power supply yarn, a bad point stitch adjusting cam.
  • Crease:
    A lack of fabric across the width of fabric usually caused by a sharp crease.
  • Calendar Online:
    Strong press mark on canvas with the schedule during treatment.
  • Contamination:
    Colored fibers with the fibers of the warp or weft.
  • Double Select:
    Two son running simultaneously, especially in the frame.
  • Dye stain:
    An area of discoloration due to the absorption of un-even color.
  • Drop stitches:
    Mechanism takedown too loose, defective needle thread tension too loose, bad synchronization of the needle, the needle turns off.
  • Flamed:
    A place abruptly thickened in a thread.
  • Holes:
    Bad needle, take down mechanism too tight, high tension yarn, bad needle thread too tight in their homes, dial height too low or too high, poorly tied knots, setting the defective item.
  • Loop distortion
    Bad needles and curved walls tower folded tension uneven yarn needle timing set incorrectly, media set incorrectly yarn.
  • Mispick:
    A choice not properly interlaced.
  • Misprint:
    Print cloth in either suspended or interrupted partially or incorrectly positioned relative to each other.
  • Oil stains:
    Note Oil on canvas.
  • Rust mark:
    Rusty needle, rust in tricks.
  • Skew:
    Construction deformation of the fabric is in the yarn constituting the fabric.
  • Soiled yarn:
    Contamination of cones due to miss handling, knotting hands dirty.
  • Slub:
    Broken filaments pushed along line excessive thread tails node knitter.
  • Screen Out:
    The appearance of a line of color separation in a printed design.
  • Vertical lines
    Defective needle dirt into the slots of slots, needles too loose or too tight in the tricks, needles not lubricated enough.

Though the above faults are due to various sources such as yarn, machine and processing imbalances etc different reasons, and some differences in yarn properties may directly be related to some common faults as given as like: a) Low strength weak yarn leads to holes and cracks; b) Too hairy yarn leads to diffused stitch appearance and fluff build up; 3) Yarn with long period unevenness produce fabric with stripes;
